NEARBY ACTIVITIES

But you really need to get out and explore the peaks, forest-clad hills, sparkling lakes and gorges that lie all around. You can enjoy a fun-filled day of activity here, whatever the weather. In spring, summer and winter the hills are alive with the sounds of hikers, bikers, climbers and paragliders. While in winter the sounds of skiers and boarders swooshing down freshly groomed pistes float through the frosty air.

Non-skiers can enjoy the slopes too with skating, snowshoeing and winter hiking into snow-dusted forests and glaciers. And the kids will adore exploring ice caves and tobogganing. In summer a drive along the spectacular Grossglockner High Alpine Road is a must.

The region is rich in cultural activities too. Potter around the picturesque streets and museums of Salzburg, café hop in little mountain resorts, explore ancient salt mines and enjoy a raft of regional festivals. Visit in winter and the region’s twinkly Christmas markets will put the magic back into the festive season for everyone.

After all that activity, our Resort is a haven. In summer, the gardens and terrace are a perfect spot for some late afternoon escapism. Enjoy a few chapters of your book or perhaps a siesta in your residence to refresh before an evening enjoying the lively dining and drinking scene of the region’s mountain resorts.
