Wyndham Duchally Country Estate - Leisure Centre - Pool and Jacuzzi

RESORT ACTIVITIES

Start your day with some laps in our heated indoor pool, a work-out in our well-equipped gym or a brisk walk around the grounds. After all, a little early morning exertion is even more reason to order the full Perthshire breakfast.

All guests have complimentary access to the Hotel’s leisure and spa facilities with its indoor heated pool and separate one for younger children to splash around in. You can also enjoy the Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, spa and café to stave off post-workout hunger pangs.

Spend the day exploring our wooded grounds, where the kids can let off steam in the outdoor play park and follow our nature trails. Younger guests will also love the games room in the main estate lodge, stocked with plenty of games for wet weather days and to stave off boredom while the grown-ups enjoy a long, leisurely meal.

For guests interested in the art of distilling we can organise a visit to our very own onsite distillery, the Gatehouse. It’s here that, in collaboration with Tony Reeman-Clark of Strathearn Distillery, we make our Gatehouse Gin using botanicals grown on the estate. As part of this exclusive experience, guests can sample the gin, see the process and even design and distil their very own bottle.

If you’d rather stick to Scotland’s national drink, whisky distilleries abound in Perthshire too, many offering tours and tastings. Slàinte!

NEARBY ACTIVITIES

What better way to explore the majestic scenery of Perthshire than by bike? Ask our staff about renting a bike so you can pedal off along quiet roads and lanes to immerse yourself in the landscapes. You don’t need to venture far to feel far removed from everyday life.

There are many wonderful walks in this part of Scotland too whether you fancy a leisurely stroll along the banks River Tay or a full-blown hike into the mountains and glens. For a gentle wander around a Scottish castle and gardens, Drummond Castle is a short drive away while the historic city of Stirling with its age-old castle and monuments is just 25 minutes away.

Golf lovers are in the right place with some esteemed courses close by, including the world-famous course of Gleneagles and Auchterarder Golf Club just down the road.

From high-octane activities to fun countryside pursuits, the list of outdoor adventures is endless: you could go white water rafting on the River Tay, native wildlife spotting in forests, or fishing on lochs and rivers.
